Bexton: A New Real Estate Business Model
Clean Lines, Earth Tones and a Pop of Color
Kronos Concierge – LAUNCH!
After successfully helping the owner of Barn Owl sell their home for more, we had an opportunity on another project that allowed us to put our concierge business model into practice. Partnering with the owner, we fronted all the costs of updating the home, and shared the profits after successfully selling the house.
We presented a detailed plan for the renovation, including:
Current Home Valuation
Upgrade Estimate
After Repair Value
Potential Profit
Our estimated profit for the owner on this project was $35,000. At the end, we wound up getting him over $40,000 more.
Bexton’s design revolved around making the living room have a clean Southern/”Earthy” charm that continued throughout the house.

Living Room
Upon entering the home, we are greeted with a huge living room wall and chimney, which laid the groundwork to turn it into a main focal point. With the homes’ original brown-auburn colors in mind, we replaced the floors with an espresso-brown bamboo, and painted the back wall a subtle brown. We painted the fireplace white, which made it pop out against the brown accent wall. The original mantle was kept and stained to give it a fresh look.
We continued the line of sight out to the backyard by replacing the old sliding door, with a new one that had big windows.
- Stained Wood Mantle
- Brown Accent Wall
- Brown/Black Bamboo Floors
- Added Recessed Lights
- New Sliding Back Door
Eye-Catching Kitchen
Most areas of the house had brown or neutral tones, so for the kitchen renovation we wanted to add a pop of color and lighten the area to make it feel bigger. First we removed the furdown to give the illusion of more space, and then painted the cabinets ultra white. To add color to the kitchen, the original backsplash was replaced with a blue glass subway tile, and white grout. Our buyers thought the restult was stunning.
- Unique Backsplash
- White Cabinets
- New Appliances
- Quartz Counters
- Added Pull Hardware
Bold Bathrooms
For the Owner’s Suite Bath, we stepped away from the brown tones in favor of black and gray colors. The original dark brown vanity was replaced with darker black cabinets and an oversized framed mirror, and on-trend gray subway tile in shower.
- Framed Mirror
- Dark Vanity with Marble Top
- Gray Walk-in Shower
